Burke Margulies is a firm shareholder focusing his practice in the areas of wills, trusts, estate planning and administration, and real estate.
Highly respected and sought after for his expertise in estate planning, he advises clients on their options, skillfully drafts the appropriate documents to achieve their goals, and assists with carrying out their planning objectives. He also assists families in estate settlement and trust administration, as well as residential real estate matters.
Burke previously served six terms as Pender & Coward’s CEO. Prior to joining the firm, he was employed as a Trust Officer at First Virginia Bank and Virginia National Bank. He has been a contributing author to the American Bar Association’s Real Property, Probate and Trust Journal, and is designated by the NAECP as an Accredited Estate Planner.
